Eyeful Media Named to the Inc. 5000 List for the 3rd-straight year
Inc. Magazine named Eyeful Media to its 2023 Inc. 5000 list of the Fastest Growing Private Companies in America for the 3rd-straight year. The organizations featured on this year's list combined to generate $358 billion in revenue in 2022. These industry leaders also helped create 1,187,266 jobs.
Businesses featured on the latest Inc. 5000 list are ranked according to revenue growth from 2019 through 2022. Companies must have been in business and generating revenue by March 2019 to qualify.
Each company on the list must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent of other companies. The minimum revenue required for a business to qualify for ‘19 is $100,000; the minimum for ‘22 is $2 million.
Eyeful Media earned our spot at No. 1138 on this list with a 521% growth rate over the last three years. We also ranked No. 88 in advertising and No. 55 among companies in the Dallas metro area.
This recognition is even more impressive, considering Eyeful has been on the Inc. list of the fastest-growing companies in the previous two years. We held No. 542 in 2021 and No. 530 in 2022.
Celebrating the Moments in Between
Eyeful Media's CEO and founder, Antonella Pisani, reflected on her company’s journey while discussing what this latest honor means to her and her team.
"Today is about celebrating the moments in between," Pisani said after Inc. announced this year’s rankings. “I still remember the first time we made the Inc 5000 list in 2021.
”A colleague and I were watching the reveal on my computer screen, anxiously awaiting our rank and then there was a glitch. We had been recording the screen, and there was (my) nervous cackling in the background as the screen spun and spun. We didn’t get our results and frantically scrambled to find our ranking (#542) ahead of our all-hands call. I attempted to shake a champagne bottle to spray it, and realized that task is best left for someone else.
The second time we made the list, some of our leadership team came over, and we watched the reveal on the TV in my living room. We had hoped to crack the top 500 and fell just short of it, still an epic #530. A new friend had jokingly threatened to tell our leadership class unless I did so first, and I remember writing a silly note about it and filing a "formal complaint" against him.
Today marks the third time we’ve made the list (#1138 overall, #88 in advertising, #55 in Dallas). It’s been a crazy year for many businesses, and we’re excited to still be growing & adding great people to our team.
As I sit here writing this, I realize that Inc 5000 reveal day isn’t about the moment you learn your rank & celebrate with everyone else (congrats to everyone btw!)- it’s about celebrating all the moments in between.
It’s about the silly ones where your colleagues do something to make you laugh like crazy (a few come to mind!), the touching ones when you volunteer together & realize you’ve “made it” because you’re sponsoring something you really care about, the fun ones when you do something to make a client look great, and tough ones, too.
I’m proud of what we’ve built here at Eyeful over the past 6.5 years. I’ve seen a lot in my career, but reflecting back on all the moments we’ve shared “in between” these rank reveal days over the past few years puts it all in perspective.
