Eyeful is looking for an Ad Operations & Data Analyst to support our internal team of paid search, paid social, and SEO professionals with client tracking, analytics, and reporting projects. This person must have strong critical thinking and technical skills, the desire and ability to build a new job function for Eyeful from the ground up, be comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment, and work across both B2C and B2B clients.
This person will be responsible for implementing and debugging advertising tracking pixels, auditing and optimizing Google Analytics implementations, assisting with Google Tag Manager environments, analyzing data from digital marketing platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook/Meta, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.), and providing insights that help grow Eyeful’s clients.
This is a full-time position and while we would prefer to have someone based in Dallas, we are open to candidates throughout the USA.
Job Responsibilities & Requirements
Client Analytics & Research (75%)
Proactively research trends in product sales, lead generation, customer site behavior, etc. for the assigned list of clients and provide recommendations/insights to the paid media and SEO teams
Review client Google Analytics environments for tracking issues (e.g., new referral exclusions) and proactively recommend/implement solutions
Perform ad hoc analysis in support of the paid, SEO, and strategy teams
Tracking, Reporting, and Data Flow Management (25%)
Coordinate with the Eyeful paid media team to create and implement tracking pixels and troubleshoot technical problems
Work directly with the Eyeful paid media and SEO teams to assist with client reporting, including building new automated reports and troubleshooting existing reports
Assist in the setup and optimization of eCommerce product feeds for Google Shopping and Facebook Product Catalogs
Diagnose issues in client data flow between systems (e.g., tracking parameters flowing from website to marketing automation software to sales CRMs) and provide recommendations based on best practices
Implement data flow from client eCommerce platforms and Sales CRMs into digital advertising accounts (i.e., Google Ads, Facebook/Meta)
Work with Practice Leads & Director of Strategy and Analytics to establish tracking and measurement SOPs including consistent naming conventions & UTMs
Keep current on the latest trends in tracking
Ideal Applicant Profile
4-10+ years of experience in digital marketing analytics
Ability to understand and speak to key marketing metrics (ROAS, CPO, CPC, etc.) and eCommerce metrics (AOV, LTV, Revenue per site visit, etc.)
Must have a strong understanding of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, plus experience with digital marketing feeds and conversion tracking
Bonus points for experience with Shopify, Salesforce CRM, Pardot, Hubspot, Unbounce, Zapier, Segment, and Unbounce
Must have advanced Excel skills, bonus points for experience with SQL
Bachelor's Degree
Experience with attribution modeling a plus
